ALiNA PiCCOLiNA is a series of bilingual illustrated children’s books that focus on the Italian language, Italy’s history, heritage, traditions, geography and culture.
Each book endeavours to educate, entertain and engage the readers like other book series of the same genre, ALiNA PiCCOLiNA different, because it is based on real people, real places and real stories, creating a sense of belonging. Each book highlights a family member, friend or person of Italian heritage known to ALiNA PiCCOLiNA and their adventures take them to discover their region of origin.

Come on an adventure with Zietta and Maxxi Gatto (Cat) as the fly on their magical friend, V’ronica Vespa to discover where ALiNA PiCCOLiNA’s Bisnonna (Great Grandmother) was born.
The inaugural episode sees the ALiNA PiCCOLiNA gang ‘travel’ to visit the towns of Scigliano and Carpanzano, the origin of her paternal Great Grandparents and shares BisNonna Rosina’s recipe of potato gnocchi.
